A Website Form And A CarGurus Listing, Both Covered

Website forms sync to CRM and to CarGurus together, the CarGurus listing stays current with the DMS, and CarGurus leads land directly in the CRM.

CarGurus Integration

A Website Form, A CarGurus Listing, And Where Each One Goes

How Website Forms Reach CarGurus

A DealerClick website syncs with DealerClick CRM, CarGurus, Carfax, Google Maps, and the rest of a dealer's marketing stack, so a change made on the website side does not need to be typed a second time anywhere else. Every form that touches that sync -- credit applications, trade forms, service requests, and chatbot captures -- runs through Cloudflare Turnstile, AES-256-GCM encryption, and Zod validation.

Those website forms sync with DealerClick CRM and with partner integrations such as CarGurus, so a lead captured on the website reaches CRM and CarGurus together instead of one learning about it before the other. Conditional CTAs and chatbot handoffs then route each interaction toward the correct workflow from there, whether that is a credit application, a trade appraisal, or a service request.

The CarGurus Listing Stays Current With The DMS

CarGurus is also one of the marketplaces DealerClick keeps updated from inventory: add a vehicle, change its price, or mark it sold in the DMS, and the CarGurus listing picks up that change automatically, with nobody retyping it into CarGurus by hand.

CarGurus Leads Reach DealerClick CRM Directly

DealerClick CRM imports a CarGurus lead the instant it's submitted, using a direct API link -- one among several marketplace connections the CRM maintains -- rather than a single exclusive pipeline. Whatever assignment rule this dealership has set -- round-robin, vehicle-interest matching, source-based routing, or manager assignment for a high-value opportunity -- picks the lead up from there.

The Trust Layer Under Every Website Form

Encryption, spam protection, and audit-friendly logging cover the website's forms, part of a wider compliance layer DealerClick runs across a dealer's whole marketing stack.

Setup

Setting Up The DealerClick CarGurus Integration

Step 1: Turn On The CarGurus Listing Connection

Turn on the CarGurus listing connection in DealerClick, and separately confirm website forms are syncing to CRM and to CarGurus as one of the partner integrations. The listing connection and the website form sync are turned on separately, each its own step.

Step 2: Confirm Website Forms Are Protected

Check that credit, trade, service, and chatbot forms on the website are running through Cloudflare Turnstile, AES-256-GCM encryption, and Zod validation, and that each one is reaching both CRM and CarGurus. Confirm consent-aware analytics are active on those same forms too, keeping data collection compliant.

Step 3: Verify A Vehicle Change Reaches CarGurus

Update a vehicle's price, status, or sold flag in the DMS, then check the CarGurus listing shows the change without any manual re-entry on the CarGurus side, rather than typed a second time by hand.

Step 4: Confirm CarGurus Leads Are Arriving

Open a few recent CarGurus messages inside DealerClick CRM and check that each one arrived through the direct connection, carrying vehicle and contact details, and that it picked up the assignment rule this dealership has set up.
